Nelly Rangelova

Nelly Rangelova is one of the most popular and loved names on the Bulgarian pop music scene.
Her career began in 1978 as a backing vocalist for the Bourgas orchestra.

In 1981 she began studying at the Bulgarian Music Academy.
She is the proud recipient of many Bulgarian and international awards.

In 1982 she won the Golden Orpheus festival's grand prix. In the same year she won the grand prix at the Neewollah festival in Independence, Kansas, U.S.A., and "Variety" magazine paid a special attention to her performance.
At the festival in Nashville, Tennessee, in 1987, Nelly Rangelova's song "You and the Last Rain" entered the Top 10 in competition with 6000 songs from around the world!

All in all Nelly has recorded more than 500 songs so far!

Her albums include: "Nelly Rangelova" (83), "I'll Tell You "Good Day" (86), "Only You" (94), "Self Portrait" (98), "A Taste of Honey" (2000).

Many of her popular songs and duets have been included in various compilations.
She has worked with some of the best composers and participated as a guest singer in albums by FSB, Rossi Kirilova, Bisser Kirov and Orlin Goranov.
Her multimedia CD "A Taste of Honey" includes 7 songs written by Grafa, Kiril Ampov, Maria Ganeva, Boris Chakarov and Krissi Bojadjiev, as well as guest appearances by the hip-hop celebrities Romanetsa and Enchev.
The multimedia part includes 4 clips - the brand-new hit "A Taste of Honey" as well as live performances of "Self Portrait", "Sweet Nothing" and "Summer Time", all of them taken from Nelly's jubilee concert celebrating her 20th anniversary on the music scene at the Hall # 1 at the National Palace of Culture.
Special attention is paid to Nelly's discography, her concerts and awards from international music festivals and interesting facts about her musical career on the Bulgarian and the international music scene.
