Liubomir Damianov

Liubomir Damianov was born in 1950 in Pleven. He graduated from the music high-school in Pleven in 1969 with violin as his major subject.

In 1974 Damianov graduated from the Bulgarian Music Academy and began to play in various bands abroad.

In 1977 he started to work in the Bulgarian National Television as a managing editor of the programs "TV discotheque", "With a song around Bulgaria", the "Melody of the year" contest, New Year's Eve show programs, co-productions, etc.

In 1993 Damianov started to produce classical music, namely the "Sofia soloists" and "Aleko", with whom he released three CDs.

From 1995 to 1998 Damianov worked as a producer and director of Radio 99. He has produced pop stars such as Lily Ivanova, LZ, duet Karavel, Rumen Alexandrov and others. His first song "My star" Damianov recorded in 1977 with the band LZ, and the last one so far - "Sea of love" - with Inez in 2002.

The Riva Sound-produced album "Confession" contains Damianov's greatest hits performed by the Bulgarian pop megastars Lily Ivanova, Vassil Naidenov, Silvia Katsarova and LZ, Sprint, Villy Kavaldjiev, Kichka Bodurova and many others.
