Christian Bojadjiev belongs to the new generation of Bulgarian composers, who enriched the Bulgarian pop music scene in the 1980s with modern sound and ideas.
He graduated from the Music Institute in Plovdiv (1982). He worked for the Bulgarian National Television and the Bulgarian National Radio and since 1998 he has been the director of the department "Pop music, jazz and musical setting" of the "Hristo Botev" program.
He debuted with the song "Reflection" (performed by FSB and Peter Chernev) in 1979. Since then he has conducted the arrangements for 320 and has recorded 250 songs. He cooperates with many of the most outstanding Bulgarian performers such as Lily Ivanova, Vassil Naidenov, Orlin Goranov, Trick, Milena, The Crickets, Stefka Onikian, Bogdana Karadocheva.
He authored the first Bulgarian song to be aired by "VOA Europe" in 1991. He produced albums by Nelly Rangelova, Christina Dimitrova, Chocho Vladovski, Irina Florin.
He produced and arranged the song "45 years are enough! The time is ours!" His songs were awarded in the Youth contest for popular songs, the "Spring" contest and the Golden Orpheus festival. He won two times the grand prix of the Golden Orpheus festival: for the song "Close to me" (lyrics by Alexander Petrov, performed by Villy Kavaldjiev) in 1992, and in 1996 - for the song "Don't do this again" (together with Mikhail Yonchev).
During the 1990s Christian Bojadjiev formed a tandem with Mikhail Yonchev called "CriMi", which did many recordings among which the hit-songs "Faith, Hope, Love", "My Dove" and "Magic for Love". Christian Bojadjiev also wrote music for children and for the theatre. In 1999 he won the award of the Union of Bulgarian Composers at the Golden Orpheus festival. His song "Salvation", performed by Nelly Rangelova won two awards at the "Bourgas and the sea" festival. In 2000 Christian Bojadjiev together with the Brazilian poet Marcio Catunda recorded a compact disc called "Cresente". For the recordings of this album the Brazilian singer Juliana Arejas was invited. In 2000 Riva Sound released a compilation of Christian's greatest hits simply called "The Best".
