Haigashod Agassian

Haigashod Agassian graduated from the Music Academy in Sofia with viola as his major subject (1978). He worked for the orchestra of the National Theatre of Youth (1979-1991) and the "Vazrajdane" theatre (from 1991). He authored many children's songs, wrote theatre music, music for the TV as well as musicals. He cooperated with Juri Stupel (duet "Bulgarche"), Nedjalko Yordanov (wrote songs based on his lyrics, wrote music for his plays, and accompanied him on tours around Bulgaria and abroad). Most of Agassian's children's songs as well as his pop songs soon turned into hits, many of which won awards from various music contests. Among those who performed Agassian's songs are artists such as Mihail Belchev, Iskra Radeva, Stefka Onikjan, Dejan Nedelchev, Domino and many others.
